Academic mock-up — Auxo Banque is an entirely fictional institution, built as part of a graduate thesis. It does not correspond to any real bank. No data entered is transmitted or stored.

Home/Security

Security & trust

Your money, your data, your rules.

How your accounts are protected, what the bank will never ask you, and the reflexes that make the difference.

Demonstration mode. The safeguards, procedures and contact details described on this page illustrate the practices of a real bank for academic purposes; no account, transaction or incident is actually handled by this mock-up.

Our safeguards

Six protections running at all times

Strong authentication

Every sensitive operation is confirmed by a second factor: in-app validation or a one-time code.

Encrypted exchanges

Communications between your device and the bank are encrypted end to end over recognised channels.

Transaction monitoring

Automated controls detect unusual behaviour and trigger a verification.

Data protection

Data is collected for a defined purpose, kept for a limited time and never resold.

Immediate card blocking

A lost or compromised card can be blocked without delay, at any time.

Human support

In case of doubt, an advisor takes over the case and tells you what to do.

Good practice

Six habits that genuinely protect you

Do

  • Use a long, unique password reserved for your bank.
  • Enable strong authentication on all your devices.
  • Never share a code received by text, even with an “advisor”.
  • Type the website address yourself rather than following a link.
  • Regularly update your phone, browser and app.
  • Check your transactions at least once a week.

What the bank never asks

  • Your password, under any circumstance.
  • A validation code received by text or app.
  • A transfer to a “security account”.
  • The installation of remote-control software.
  • Your credentials by email or instant messaging.
Fraud & phishing

The most frequent situations

How do I recognise a phishing message?
Artificial urgency, language mistakes, a sloppy sender address, a link that does not match the official domain, a request for confidential data: any one of these signals is reason enough to stop.
What if I clicked a fraudulent link?
Do not enter anything, close the page, change your password from the official app, then contact support to report the incident.
How does the fake-advisor scam work?
A call appears to come from the bank and asks you to validate an operation “to secure it”. Hang up and call back the number printed on the back of your card.
Will I be reimbursed after a fraud?
Handling depends on the circumstances and how quickly the fraud is reported. In this academic mock-up, no real procedure is carried out.
If something goes wrong

Three actions, in this order

Block

Block the card or suspend access from your space.

Secure

Change the password and review connected devices.

Report

Contact support to log the incident and start the analysis.

Unsure about a transaction?

An unnecessary check beats a confirmed fraud. Support treats these requests as priority.
